My name is Ajmal Mohammed Anas. I am a researcher and teacher in the field of Islamic studies. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Islamic and Human Sciences from Darul Falah Islamic Academy, and Master’s degree from Darul Huda Islamic University in the Department of Study of Religions, where I developed a strong academic interest in Islamic thought, theology, and comparative religion. As part of my academic journey, I also participated in a student exchange program at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in the Department of Usul al-Din and Comparative Religion. My academic interests focus on understanding religious thought and responding to contemporary intellectual challenges.\r\n\r\nMy Experience\r\n\r\nThroughout my academic journey, I have been involved in research and intellectual discussions related to Islamic studies and contemporary ideological debates. My Bachelor’s thesis examined “Hayreddin Barbarossa and the Ottoman Naval System: A Defence Study Against Western Scholars.” My Master’s thesis is titled as “An Analytical Study of Malabar Muslim Responses to New Atheism.” My research interests include Islamic theology, comparative religion, philosophy of religion, and modern debates surrounding atheism and religion. I have also been engaged in teaching and mentoring students, helping them develop skills in critical thinking, research methodology, and academic writing.\r\n\r\nMy Vision for the Club\r\n\r\nAs the Mentor of the Research and Analysis Club, my vision is to cultivate a strong culture of inquiry, research, and thoughtful discussion among students. The club should serve as a platform where members can explore important social, religious, and intellectual issues through critical thinking, academic research, and constructive dialogue. I hope the club will inspire students to develop analytical skills, intellectual confidence, and a deeper understanding of contemporary challenges, enabling them to contribute positively to both academic and social discussions.
